Head of Research Group “Coated and Printed Perovskite Photovoltaics”
Postdoctoral Position in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or Materials Science
Tätigkeitsbeschreibung
You will be responsible for further developing and leading the research group “Coated and Printed Perovskite Photovoltaics.” Your tasks include:
- Research on scalable solution-based fabrication processes for perovskite semiconductor layers (slot-die coating, inkjet printing, screen printing)
- Coordination of contributions to the national and European collaboration projects (e.g. HYPER and TIPSTAR) as well as related activities at IMT/KCOP and InnovationLab in Heidelberg
- Publication of research results
- Acquisition of new research projects and industry collaborations
- Supporting activities in teaching
- Staff management, supervision of Master’s theses, and co-supervision of PhD candidates
Persönliche Qualifikation
You have:
- A university degree (Master’s) and a completed PhD in electrical engineering, physics, chemistry, materials science, or a related field
- Expertise in optoelectronics, semiconductor physics, photovoltaics, and fabrication of perovskite thin-film solar cells from liquid phase
- Project management skills
- Experience in publishing scientific papers
- Ability to work in a team and guide PhD candidates and students
Salary
Salary category 14, depending on the fulfillment of professional and personal requirements.
