Tätigkeitsbeschreibung
- Maintain the system infrastructure of the research group, e.g., administrating our Linux computer cluster;
- Coordinate the procurement and installation of new hardware;
- Set up and maintain user accounts of our systems;
- Act as the group’s IT representative when coordinating with central IT administration of the university.
Persönliche Qualifikation
- You have a bachelor degree or comparable training as an IT specialist for system administration.
- You have knowledge of Windows, Linux and MacOS operating systems.
- Previous experience in managing small-scale Linux-based GPU clusters is a plus.
- Good knowledge of English to communicate with our international colleagues and partners.
- You are willing to independently learn about new subjects as needed for the job.
Salary
Salary category 11 TV-L, depending on the fulfillment of professional and personal requirements.
