Job description
You will develop and implement in-situ / operando TEM methods for the characterization of model systems in catalysis. In close collaboration with the CRC TrackACT groups, you will be responsible for the in-situ and ex-situ characterization of catalyst materials using analytical (S)TEM techniques and electron tomography, in particular of defined cluster-deposited model systems. In addition, you will develop schemes for the characterization of TEM investigations.
Furthermore, the publication of the results in scientific journals and at conferences is part of your area of responsibility.
In addition to the scientific work, there is the possibility of a doctorate.
Personal qualification
You have:
- completed university degree (Diploma (Uni) / Master) in the field of materials science, physics or chemistry Basic
- physical knowledge of imaging and spectroscopic characterization methods in the field of electron microscopy
- Basic knowledge of materials science and catalysis Analytical skills to solve physical and technical problems
- good command of English
- ability to work in a team
