PhD Position / Research Assistent (f/m/d) - Development of a microfluidic system for automated sample preparation
M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or Chemistry
Job description
Your responsibilities will include:
- Development of microfluidic systems for sample preparation, transport, and controlled release of an active substance, e.g., via electroporation
- Adaptation of the systems for NMR and MRI devices
- Conducting NMR and MRI experiments
- Publication of research results in scientific journals as well as presentation at conferences
The activity offers the opportunity for a part-time doctorate.
Personal qualification
You have:
- A completed university degree (Master’s) in mechanical engineering, chemistry, or a similar field
- Knowledge in the areas of microstructuring technology, microfluidics, magnetic resonance, and simulation
Organizational unit
Institute of Microstructure Technology (IMT)

01.12.2025
Salary
Salary category 13 TV-L, depending on the fulfillment of professional and personal requirements.
Contract duration
3 years
