PhD Position / Research Assistent (f/m/d) - Development of a microfluidic system for automated sample preparation

M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or Chemistry

Job description

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Development of microfluidic systems for sample preparation, transport, and controlled release of an active substance, e.g., via electroporation
  • Adaptation of the systems for NMR and MRI devices
  • Conducting NMR and MRI experiments
  • Publication of research results in scientific journals as well as presentation at conferences

The activity offers the opportunity for a part-time doctorate.

Personal qualification

You have:

  • A completed university degree (Master’s) in mechanical engineering, chemistry, or a similar field
  • Knowledge in the areas of microstructuring technology, microfluidics, magnetic resonance, and simulation

Salary

Salary category 13 TV-L, depending on the fulfillment of professional and personal requirements.
