Job description

Your responsibilities include:

  • Research on AI methods for materials discovery and scalable manufacturing processes in perovskite photovoltaics:
    • Designing and conducting laboratory experiments
    • Creating comprehensive experimental datasets
    • Applying machine learning methods (e.g., neural networks) to analyze, interpret, and optimize complex experimental processes
  • Supporting project work and coordinating laboratory infrastructure
  • Assisting in teaching activities
  • Publishing research results in scientific journals and presenting at conferences

The position offers the opportunity to pursue a PhD alongside your work.

Personal qualification

You have:

  • An excellent Master’s degree in computer science, mechanical engineering, process engineering, chemistry, physics, electrical engineering, materials science, or related fields
  • Knowledge of semiconductor physics or optoelectronics
  • Strong programming skills
  • Experience with AI methods is an advantage

Salary

Salary category 13 TV-L, depending on the fulfillment of professional and personal requirements.
