Your Tasks
As part of a collaborative project funded by the BMFTR on microwave-assisted glass manufacturing, as well as other R&D and externally funded projects, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Planning, conducting, and documenting your own research work in the field of "industrial materials processing technology using microwaves"
- Active communication with project partners and clients
- Collaborating on the development of ideas and the acquisition of new projects in the aforementioned research area
- Publication of research results in international scientific journals and presentation at national and international conferences
- Assisting with the filing of patents
- Support in the area of teaching, i.e., supervising student assistants as well as bachelor’s and master’s theses
There is an opportunity to pursue a Ph.D. in addition to your research activities.
Your Profile
- Master’s degree in electrical engineering
- Excellent knowledge of simulation tools such as CST Microwave Studio and COMSOL Multiphysics
- Extensive programming skills in MatLab and Python
- Excellent written and spoken German and English
