Doctoral Candidate (f/m/d), Scientific Staff Member (f/m/d) – Development of Perovskite Semiconductor Materials

Part-time 75%


You will contribute to research on innovative manufacturing approaches for perovskite semiconductor materials. The goal is to develop polycrystalline semiconductor layers of the highest quality by precisely controlling temperature and pressure during synthesis. Novel perovskite semiconductor materials are being explored in both 3D and 2D structures.

Job description

Your responsibilities include the following tasks:

  • Material development, optimization of manufacturing processes, and investigation of their interactions
  • Project work and laboratory support
  • Participation in teaching, e.g., coordinating lab courses and tutoring in lectures
  • Publishing research results in scientific journals and presenting at conferences

The position offers the opportunity to pursue a doctoral degree alongside your work.

Personal qualification

You have:

  • A completed university degree (Master’s) in mechanical engineering, process engineering, chemistry, physics, electrical engineering, materials science, or a related field
  • Good English skills and enthusiasm for working in international teams

Salary

Salary category 13 TV-L, depending on the fulfillment of professional and personal requirements.
